Arrow lakes Provincial Park (Shelter Bay Site) is located along the shores of Upper Arrow Lake Reservoir adjacent to the Shelter Bay ferry terminal on Highway 23, 50 km south of Revelstoke. The park is a popular destination for fishers and boaters. The campsites within the park have spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding towering mountains. The park has a cement boat launch and swimming beach. The park is open from May 1 to September 30. This lakeside campground has 17 sites each with a fire ring and picnic table.
Arrow Lakes Park makes a great staging area for other recreational explorations. Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks both close by, offer hiking trails for all skill levels. Travel south, take a ferry ride and discover both Halcyon and Nakusp Hot Springs. The variety of opportunities both in and around this park beckons recreationists of all ages.
