The crystal waters of the Lardeau wind through the breathtaking scenery of Goat Range Provincial Park. This Inland Rainforest habitat is home to a variety of Rocky Mountain wildlife including woodland caribou, grizzly and black bear, wolves, cougar, bald eagles and elk.
This wild and free-flowing river is also the spawning ground of the Kokanee, a landlocked salmon, and the endangered Gerrard trout, the largest Rainbow trout in the world! Running the river with us is an exhilarating and enjoyable way to access this unique environment without disturbing the wildlife or the ecosystem as a whole. Group sizes are kept small so clients receive an intimate, personalized introduction to this remarkable mountain valley.
Our goal is to provide an expedition-quality experience in an accessible and affordable day trip. Our office in Meadow Creek is an easy and scenic drive to the north end of Kootenay Lake. Here the Selkirk and Purcell Mountains come together to create the backdrop to your Lardeau River Adventure. Meadow Creek is a comfortable day trip from Nelson, Kaslo, Balfour, Ainsworth and Nakusp and just a short jog from the International Selkirk Loop.
Whether you come by motorcycle, car or RV, make your adventure complete in Meadow Creek. Discover why we are the Kootenay Rockies Premier Adventure!
